Transition Toolkit 3.0: Meeting the Educational Needs of Youth Exposed to the Juvenile Justice System, NDTAC

The third edition of the NDTAC’s Transition Toolkit brings together strategies, existing practices, and updated resources on transition that build on research and field experience. NDTAC describes the Toolkit as offering “practical information that enables State and local administrators and service providers to provide high-quality transition services for youth moving into, through, and out of education programs within the juvenile justice (JJ) system.”  The Toolkit spotlights promising examples from the field. It also highlights specific strategies for family involvement and for engaging others if family members are unable or unwilling to be involved.
