The Village Project is a mentoring program organized by the Juvenile Court in Salt Lake County, Utah. The purpose of this project is to provide court-involved youth with positive adult role models. Mentors can work with elementary, middle, and high school aged youth who are involved in the delinquency and dependency courts. Youth are connected with the program by juvenile court judges who receive referrals from probation/intake workers or other agencies. Only youth expressing willingness to participate in the program will be matched with mentors.
