Utah Statute On Education of Youth in Custody

Utah's statute governing the education of youth in custody requires LEAs to accept academic credits at face value if they are earned at accredited programs for youth in custody. In addition, youth in custody programs must coordinated education with schools in the community to minimize educational disruption upon discharge discharge from custody.
